TEXITcoin Web Wallet (wallet.texitcoin.org)

Who this is for	Anyone who only wants to hold, send, and receive TEXITcoin. If you want Iskander, Bitcoin, stablecoins, swaps, or NectarPay, use Mobile Honest Money instead (separate guide).
What you need	Your 12-word seed phrase (see the Start Here guide) or a willingness to let this wallet create one. A phone or computer with a browser. Nothing to install.
Time	About 5 minutes.
Why a web wallet?	App stores pull apps without warning (the Android TXC Wallet just vanished), delay every update for days, and block features like swaps. A web wallet is always the current version and cannot be taken down by a store.

STOP. READ THIS. — The old TXC Wallet app is being retired. The Android app is gone from the Play Store. The iOS app still exists but is no longer supported and cannot be fixed. If your coins are in the old app, jump to Part 7 now and get your backup phrase out before anything else.

Part 1: Create a brand-new wallet

Use this if you do not have a cold storage coin yet and want to start right now.

1. On your phone, open a browser and go to wallet.texitcoin.org.
2. Tap Create new wallet. The screen shows you 12 words.
3. If you want a different set, tap Regenerate. You can do this as many times as you like until you write a set down. Once you have written words down, STOP tapping Regenerate. Every tap replaces the words.
4. Write the 12 words on paper, in order. Read them back. This is the only backup you will ever have.
5. Tap Create wallet.
6. Choose a password for this device. Use a password manager if you have one. This password only unlocks the app on this phone; if you forget it you re-import your words and pick a new one.
7. The wallet will prompt you to save a backup file. This file is encrypted with your password and is a convenience, not a replacement for the paper words. Save it or skip it; your paper copy is what counts.

Part 2: Import from your cold storage coin (or existing words)

1. Open wallet.texitcoin.org on your phone, not a laptop. You will need the phone camera and laptops rarely scan well.
2. If you already have a wallet on this device and want a second one, open a private/incognito tab so you do not overwrite it.
3. Tap Import. You will see a box for your seed phrase (or old-style private key).
4. Tap the Scan button and allow camera access. Point it at the cleaned QR code on your coin. The 12 words fill in automatically. No camera? Read the words with your phone's camera app and type them in, separated by spaces.
5. Check the words against the coin once more, then tap Import.
6. Set your device password and save the encrypted backup file if prompted.
7. Tap Receive and confirm the address shown. It should match what you expect. If the wallet shows a zero balance where you expected coins, use Rescan in the menu before contacting anyone; see Troubleshooting.

Part 3: Receive TXC

1. Tap Receive.
2. Your TXC address and its QR code appear. Tap the address to copy it, or let the sender scan the QR.
3. Read the sender the first and last four characters of the address so you both know it is right.
4. Payments show in your history once confirmed on the TXC chain. TXC confirms faster than Bitcoin, slower than Ethereum; a couple of minutes is normal.

Part 4: Send TXC

1. Tap Send.
2. Paste the recipient's address or scan their QR code.
3. Enter the amount. Double-check the decimal point.
4. Confirm the first and last four characters of the address with the recipient, then tap Send and enter your password.

TIP — Test first, always. Send a tiny amount first, confirm it lands, then send the real amount. This has saved the ecosystem from six-figure mistakes more than once.

GOOD TO KNOW — Why does my balance dip right after I send? TXC works like Bitcoin: to pay 5 TXC, the wallet may pick up a 500 TXC chunk, pay 5, and send 495 back to you as change. Until that block confirms, the change is not counted. Wait a couple of minutes and the balance returns to where you expect. Nothing is lost.

Part 5: Command Send (StreamTXC bulk renewals)

If you host videos on StreamTXC, you renew their on-chain storage with TXC. Instead of paying each video by hand, StreamTXC gives you one command you paste here.

1. In StreamTXC, open Manage my videos and choose the bulk renewal option (for example, everything expiring in the next 365 days).
2. StreamTXC shows a command. Tap Copy.
3. Back in the wallet, tap Command Send, paste the command, and confirm. All renewals go out in one transaction.

Part 6: Add the wallet to your home screen

This makes the web wallet feel like an app: its own icon, full screen, camera access for scanning.

• iPhone (Safari): tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow), scroll, tap Add to Home Screen, tap Add.
• Android (Chrome): tap the three-dot menu, tap Add to Home screen (or Install app), confirm.
• Open it from the new icon from now on.

HEADS UP — The Wipe button. There is a Wipe button in the wallet. It erases the wallet from this device. If you have your words, it is harmless: re-import and carry on. If you never wrote your words down, Wipe is permanent loss. Do not tap it casually.

Part 7: Moving out of the old TXC Wallet app

1. Open the old TXC Wallet app on your phone.
2. Tap the blue wallet card.
3. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
4. Tap Export backup. Your seed phrase (or, on older wallets, a private key) is displayed.
5. Write it on paper. Do not screenshot it.
6. Go to wallet.texitcoin.org (or mobile.honest.money) and use Import with those words. The new wallets automatically check the old app's address format, so your history and balance come with you.
7. Once you can see your balance in the new wallet, you are done. You can leave the old app installed; it will simply stop being maintained.

HEADS UP — Have a private key instead of words? If the old app gave you a private key rather than 12 words: first create a new seed-phrase wallet in Mobile Honest Money, then import the private key into it. Importing the key first limits what the wallet can do. Full steps are in the Mobile Honest Money guide.

Troubleshooting

Balance shows zero after import	Menu → Rescan. Seed phrases can hold coins on more than one address path. The new wallets check the old paths too, but a rescan forces it. Give it a minute.
Camera will not open for Scan	Make sure you are on a phone (not a laptop webcam), you allowed camera permission, and you are not in a browser that blocks the camera in private mode. Fall back to typing the words.
QR on coin will not scan	Glue residue. More WD-40, more light, and a phone camera rather than a webcam.
Address does not match the one on my coin sticker	The sticker shows the address for one specific chain and path. The wallet may show a different derived address from the same words. Rescan, and check the receive address inside the wallet. That is the one to use.
Forgot my password	Wipe, then Import with your words and set a new password.
Want to use TXC on the same words in another wallet	Import the same 12 words into mobile.honest.money, beekeeper.money, or app.cryptopop.org. They all produce the same TXC address.
