Mobile Honest Money

Mobile Honest Money Wallet (mobile.honest.money)

The full-ecosystem wallet Bobby uses every day. TEXITcoin, Iskander, Zero Chill, Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, swaps, and more.

Who this is forAnyone who wants more than just TXC. This is the recommended wallet if you plan to use the whole ecosystem: NectarPay, Texas Stable Dollar, StreamTXC sign-in, Iskander, Zero Chill, plus Bitcoin, Litecoin, Doge, Ethereum and Base.
What you needYour 12-word seed phrase (see Start Here), or let this wallet create one. A phone with a browser. Android users can also install the real app (Part 9).
Same words, same walletThe seed phrase you use here is the same one that works in wallet.texitcoin.org, beekeeper.money, and app.cryptopop.org. Your TXC address is identical in all four.
Updated dailyBobby improves this wallet constantly. Buttons move. If something is not exactly where this guide says, look for the nearest match.

Part 1: Create a brand-new wallet

  1. On your phone, go to mobile.honest.money.
  2. Tap Create new wallet.
  3. You get a scribble pad. Draw anything: sign your name, doodle. Your random scribbles become the randomness that generates your words. This is the same idea as Cloudflare using a wall of lava lamps to make randomness. Your scribble is the lava lamp.
  4. Tap Lock in, then Reveal seed phrase. You will see 24 words. (A 12-word option is planned.)
  5. Write all 24 words on paper, in order. Read them back.
  6. Confirm you wrote them down, set a device password, and continue. You are in.

Part 2: Import your words (from a coin or another wallet)

  1. Go to mobile.honest.money and tap Import, then Import seed phrase.
  2. Either scan the QR on your cold storage coin, or paste all the words at once into the first box. The wallet splits them into the right slots for you. Read the words off the coin with your phone camera first if the in-wallet scanner is fussy.
  3. Tap Import. The wallet now scans every address path the ecosystem has ever used, including the old TXC Wallet app's format. Give it a moment.
  4. Your history and balances appear. Set a device password.

GOOD TO KNOW — "Coins on an old address type" warning. If you see this yellow notice, some TXC is sitting on an address path the old app used. Tap it and choose to move to the main address. It is a normal on-chain send to yourself and the warning goes away once it confirms.

Have an old private key instead of words?

STOP. READ THIS. — Order matters. Words first, key second. Do not start by importing a private key. It locks you into a single-address experience.

  1. First create a new seed-phrase wallet (Part 1) or import your words (Part 2).
  2. Then tap Import, choose Import private key, and paste the key from the old app.
  3. The key's coins appear alongside your seed-phrase wallet. When you are ready, send them to your new address so everything lives on the words.

Part 3: Turning chains and tokens on and off

Out of the box the wallet shows the ecosystem chains. You choose what else you see.

  1. Open Settings, then Chains.
  2. Toggle on what you want: TEXITcoin, Iskander, Zero Chill, Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Base. Toggle off anything you do not use.
  3. Under Tokens, show or hide individual tokens on each network (for example USDC on Base, or specific TXC-chain tokens).
  4. Back on the home screen, swipe between the cards (or tap the little dots) to move from one chain's wallet to the next.

TIP — Hide the junk. Random tokens sometimes show up in Ethereum or Base wallets. They are usually scam bait. Hide them in Tokens and never interact with them. Bobby lost about $7,000 to one recently. It happens to experts too.

Part 4: Watch a sealed cold storage coin

Watch-only means you can see the balance of an address without having its keys. Perfect for the coin you keep sealed in the safe.

  1. Open Settings, My wallets, then Add watch-only address.
  2. At the top there is a Cold Storage Coin ID box. Type the 6-character ID printed on your coin and tap Look up.
  3. The wallet fills in the address and a name (for example "Bitcoin cold storage coin"). Pick the network if asked, then save.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of your cards. Your watch-only wallet is there. You can send to it from anywhere. To spend from it you will need to open the coin (see Start Here).

Removing a watch-only wallet is done from the same My wallets screen.

Part 5: Settings worth knowing

Address rotationBy default the wallet gives you a fresh TXC receiving address after each payment (better privacy). If your miner payouts or a merchant are pointed at one address, that is fine: all addresses from your words roll up into one balance. Prefer one fixed address? Change the behavior under Settings → Receive address: rotate after each payment, only when you tap New address, or never.
Confirm last fourTurn on to be asked to confirm the last four characters of an address before every send. Cheap insurance.
Hide balancesBlanks out amounts so you can open the wallet in public.
Biometric unlockFace or fingerprint unlock. Available in the Android APK version only (Part 9). Browser versions use the password.
RescanIf something looks missing, rescan first. It rechecks every address path and chain.

Part 6: Swapping one coin for another

The wallet includes a swap feature for Ethereum and Base (USDC, USDT, PYUSD and others) and for Litecoin and Doge. Honest Money adds no fee; you pay only the network's gas.

HEADS UP — Browser and APK only. App stores treat swaps as an exchange feature and will not allow it. Swaps work at mobile.honest.money in a browser and in the Android APK, not in any future store version.

  1. Make sure Ethereum and Base (or Litecoin/Dogecoin) are enabled under Settings → Chains.
  2. Open the card for the coin you are swapping from and tap Swap.
  3. Choose what you want to receive (for example USDC to USDT, or Litecoin to USDC on Base).
  4. Review the amount and the network fee shown (an Ethereum swap was about $9 on the call; Base is cheaper). Confirm.
  5. The result lands in the receiving card once the network confirms.

Example from the call: someone sends you PYUSD you have no use for. Swap it to USDC here, then cash out wherever you like, without leaving the ecosystem wallet.

Part 7: Linking NectarPay and Texas Stable Dollar

Linking lets the wallet talk to your other ecosystem accounts so you can move value with one tap.

  1. Open Settings, then Links (or Connections).
  2. Merchant link: connect your NectarPay merchant account.
  3. Texas Stable Dollar link: connect your TSD account.
  4. Once TSD is linked, open your Texas Stable Dollar balance, choose Cash out, enter the amount, and pick USDC on Ethereum (or Base). The wallet does the conversion and the USDC appears in your Ethereum/Base card after confirmation. On the call, 123 TSD landed as USDC in under a minute.

Part 8: Sign in to ecosystem sites with your wallet

Some ecosystem sites (StreamTXC, for one) let you log in by proving you control a TXC address. No email, no password to leak.

  1. On the site, choose Sign in with TXC wallet. It shows a one-time message or code.
  2. In the wallet, open your TXC card, choose Sign message, paste the site's message exactly as shown, and tap Sign.
  3. Copy the signature back into the site along with your address, and sign in.

Bobby was still smoothing this flow on the call (a QR-scan version is coming). If it rejects your signature, make sure you pasted the entire message, then try again or use the site's regular login for now.

Part 9: Install the real app on Android (APK)

Apple does not allow this, but Android does: install the full-featured app directly, no Play Store. This is how Bobby runs it on his own phone and it unlocks biometric unlock.

  1. On your Android phone, go to mobile.honest.money and lock the wallet (or open the start screen).
  2. Tap Download APK.
  3. Android will ask permission to install from this source. Allow it. Play Protect scans the file.
  4. Tap Install, then open the app from your home screen. Import your words as in Part 2.
  5. Turn on biometric unlock in Settings.

GOOD TO KNOW — Only download the APK from mobile.honest.money. Never install a wallet APK sent to you in a chat, email, or from a third-party site. The only genuine source is the link inside mobile.honest.money.

iPhone: add to home screen

  1. In Safari at mobile.honest.money, tap the Share icon.
  2. Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add. You get an app-style icon with camera access for scanning.

Troubleshooting

Balance missing after importRescan. The words are right; the wallet may just not have checked every path yet.
Balance dropped right after I sentNormal. TXC uses change addresses like Bitcoin. The change returns to your balance once the block confirms, usually within a couple of minutes.
My receive address changedAddress rotation is on. All addresses from your words share one balance. Change the behavior in Settings if you prefer a fixed address.
Swap button is missingEnable Ethereum/Base (or Litecoin/Doge) under Chains. Also confirm you are in the browser or APK, not a store app.
Watch-only lookup says "not found"The coin may not be registered in the database yet (demo and error coins are not). Add the address manually instead.
Forgot my passwordWipe the wallet on this device and re-import your words. Set a new password.
Yellow "old address type" noticeTap it and move the coins to your main address.

Before you message supportRescan your wallet first. Most "my coins are gone" reports are the wallet looking at a different address path. Rescanning fixes it.
