Mining Hash Explained

Active, Locked, Total, Paid, and Bonus hash — what each bucket means.

Mining Hash Explained

"Hash" is your mining power. The more hash you have, the more ISK rewards you earn each day.

Active Hash

The hash currently working for you and earning rewards right now. This is the number that drives your daily ISK.

Locked Hash

Hash you own that hasn't been released yet. Locked hash is usually tied to a Coin Lock you chose at purchase (3, 6, or 12 months). It earns bonus value but cannot mine until the lock period ends.

Total Hash

Everything you own — Active + Locked + Bonus combined. Your lifetime position in the network.

Paid Hash

The base hash that came with the package you purchased. If you bought a 5-pack, your Paid Hash is the 5-pack's base amount.

Bonus Hash

Extra hash awarded on top of what you paid for. Bonus hash comes from Coin Locks, Stretch upgrades, and promotional offers. It mines just like Paid Hash once released.

Why Active Hash is different from Total Hash

Total Hash includes everything you own. Active Hash is just the portion currently mining. The rest unlocks over time based on your Coin Lock terms.
