How to Turn Off or Adjust Email Spam Filters
Sometimes important emails can accidentally be sent to your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder. If you are not receiving emails you expect from MineTXC or other trusted services, you may need to adjust your email provider’s spam settings.
Step 1: Check Your Spam or Junk Folder
First, check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder for the missing email.
If you find the email:
Mark it as Not Spam or Not Junk. Add the sender's email address to your Contacts. Add the sender to your email provider's Safe Senders or Allow List, if available.
Step 2: Adjust Your Spam Settings
Most email providers allow you to control how aggressively spam is filtered.
Look in your email settings for options such as:
Spam Junk Email Filters Blocked Addresses Safe Senders / Allow List
If your provider allows it, add trusted senders to your Safe Senders or Allow List rather than completely disabling spam protection.
Step 3: Check Your Filters and Blocked Addresses
If emails are still not arriving, check your account's Filters and Blocked Addresses settings.
Make sure the sender or domain has not accidentally been blocked or set to automatically delete incoming messages.
Important
We generally recommend adjusting your spam settings and allowing trusted senders rather than completely turning off spam protection. This helps ensure you continue receiving important emails while keeping your inbox protected from unwanted messages.
If you are still having trouble receiving an expected email, contact the appropriate support team for assistance.
