How to Set Up 2FA for Your TXC Back Office

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your TXC Back Office account. Follow the steps below to set up your authenticator app and begin using 2FA.

  1. Click “Set Up 2FA”

Log in to your TXC Back Office and click “Set Up 2FA.”

  1. Locate the QR Code and Setup Code

After clicking “Set Up 2FA,” you will be taken to a page displaying a QR code and a long setup code.

If you are setting up the authenticator on your phone, we recommend copying the setup code or taking a screenshot of the QR code.

If you are setting up 2FA while logged in from a computer, you can use the QR code directly.

  1. Add Your TXC Account to Your Authenticator App

Open the authenticator app you would like to use for 2FA. Select “Add Account” or click the “+” sign. In most authenticator apps, this option is located in the top-right corner of the screen.

You will then see several options. Look for one of the following:

If you are setting up 2FA from a computer, select “Scan QR Code.” This will open your phone’s camera. Point your camera at the QR code displayed on your computer screen, and the account will be added to your authenticator app.

Add Manually

If you are setting up 2FA from your phone, select “Add Manually.” Copy the setup code displayed next to or below the QR code and enter it into your authenticator app.

Read QR from Image

If your authenticator app supports “Read QR from Image,” take a screenshot of the QR code. Select “Read QR from Image” in your authenticator app, then choose the QR code screenshot from your camera roll and click “Continue.”

Once the QR code has been read, your TXC account will be added to the authenticator app.

  1. Use Your 2FA Code When Logging In

After your account has been added to the authenticator app, you will use the app each time you log in to your TXC Back Office account.

The app will display a 6-digit verification code that refreshes every 30 seconds or one minute, depending on the authenticator app.

When logging in to minetxc.com, enter the current 6-digit code when prompted for your 2FA verification.

Important: Make sure you have access to your authenticator app whenever you need to log in to your TXC Back Office account.
