TXC Consolidation and Placerator FAQ
TXC Consolidations: Do I Need to Take Action?
If you recently received an email regarding TXC Consolidations, you may be wondering whether you need to take action.
We've put together this guide to help you understand who is impacted, how to check your current spots, and what steps may be required.
1. First, Does This Apply to You?
Before taking any action, it's important to understand which miners are impacted by this process.
- TXC ONLY: This consolidation applies exclusively to TEXITCOIN (TXC). ISK and ZCU are not impacted in any way.
- Multiple TXC Spots: This process is intended for miners who own multiple spots within TXC and would like to consolidate them for easier management.
If you are only mining ISK or ZCU, no action is needed.
2. Do You Own a Builder Pack (3 Spots)?
If you own a standard Builder Pack (3 spots), your spots should already be consolidated.
How to Check Your Spots
- Log into your Miner Account.
- Navigate to your Placement Tree.
- Locate your second and third spots.
- Look for
_spareadded to the names of those spots.
What does _spare mean?
If you see _spare on both your second and third spots, this portion of the consolidation process has already been completed.
No further action is needed for this part of the process.
3. Do You Own More Than a Builder Pack?
If you've purchased additional spots beyond your original 3-pack and would like to consolidate them into one spot for easier management, this process is for you!
Consolidation is especially helpful for miners who have accumulated additional spots over time and want a simpler, more streamlined miner experience.
Important: Account and Email Access Is Required
Before beginning the consolidation process, make sure you have access to every account and associated email address for the spots you wish to consolidate.
Why is this important?
Each impacted email address will receive a consolidation email requiring you to review and accept the request.
To successfully complete the process, you must be able to:
- Access each impacted miner account.
- Access the email address associated with each spot.
- Review and approve each consolidation request received.
Remember: Every impacted account must complete its required approval for the consolidation to be finalized.
4. What Is the Purpose of Consolidation?
The goal is simple: to make managing your TXC miner experience easier!
Consolidation allows miners with multiple spots to simplify their setup and bring everything together.
Rather than managing numerous individual spots, miners can streamline their accounts for a more organized and convenient experience.
5. Don't Forget the PLACERATOR Step!
Once your consolidation is complete, there is one additional step you must take: the Placerator process.
This step is required for every miner who completes a consolidation.
What Is the Placerator?
As explained in the original consolidation email, the Placerator process provides miners with an opportunity to rebalance their teams following consolidation as a courtesy.
This is an important final step in the consolidation process.
What You Need to Do:
- Complete your TXC consolidation.
- Review the Placerator instructions provided in the original email.
- Follow the instructions to complete the required Placerator step.
Important: Your consolidation process is not fully complete until you have addressed the required Placerator step.
