Nectar Pay Merchant Onboarding

Step 1: Activate the Beekeeper Wallet

1. Go to beekeeper.money.
2. You will be taken to a page that says “Activate Your Beekeeper Wallet.”
3. Select “Scan My Copper Coin.”
4. Before scanning the cold storage coin: • Remove the sticker from the coin. • Clean off any excess sticky residue.
5. Select “Start Camera” and scan the cold storage coin.

Step 2: Acknowledge the Wallet Security Rules

After scanning the coin, you will be asked to acknowledge the security rules for your cold storage coin.

Read and select all of the acknowledgments. These explain that:

• Your copper coin is your backup and must be kept safe. • If you lose access to your wallet and do not have your copper coin or 12 recovery words, your account cannot be recovered. • Your wallet is noncustodial, meaning you are responsible for maintaining access to it. • We cannot recover your wallet for you if you lose your recovery methods.

Once you understand and acknowledge these rules, select “I Agree and Continue.”

Step 3: Create the Wallet

1. Create a password when prompted.
2. Make sure the password is secure and stored somewhere safe.
3. Select “Create Wallet.”

Your Beekeeper Wallet is now created.

Set Up Nectar Pay on the Terminal

Step 4: Create the Merchant Account

1. Go to the terminal.
2. Open the Nectar Pay app.
3. Select “New Merchant.”
4. Select “Continue with Email.”
5. Enter the merchant’s email address.
6. A magic link will be sent to that email address.
7. Open the email and retrieve the verification code.
8. Enter the code on the terminal to verify the email.

Step 5: Enter the Business Information

The terminal will ask for the merchant’s business information.

Enter:

• Business Name • City where the business is located

Review the information to make sure it is correct, then confirm it.

Link the Beekeeper Wallet to Nectar Pay

Step 6: Link Nectar Pay

1. Go back to the phone with the Beekeeper Wallet.
2. Find “Link Nectar Pay” and select “Link.”
3. Select “Scan Nectar Pay QR.”
4. Go back to the terminal. A QR code will be displayed.
5. Using the phone, scan the QR code shown on the terminal.
6. The phone will then take you to the Republic Keys approval screen.
7. Review the information, then select “Approve and Link.”

Once completed, the terminal should display “Wallet Linked.”

Configure the Terminal

Step 7: Enable Standard Stablecoins

1. On the terminal, select “Enable Standard Stablecoins.”
2. Select “Continue.”

Step 8: Choose the Merchant’s Checkout Settings

The next screen will allow you to customize the merchant’s terminal settings.

Choose whether you would like to enable or disable:

• Include Sales Tax in Totals • Capture Signature • Receipt Prompt • Cashier PIN

These settings can be selected based on the merchant’s preferences.

Once everything is configured, select “Save and Continue.”

Final Step: Go Live

Step 9: Activate the Terminal

1. The next screen should say “You’re Live.”
2. Select “Use This Device as a Terminal.”
3. The setup is complete.

The merchant is now fully onboarded and ready to use Nectar Pay.
