Adding a coin to your wallet

Every Cold Storage Coin has a public address printed as a QR code. Scanning it adds the coin to your dashboard so you can watch its balance.

Scanning the public address is completely safe — a public address can only receive funds, never spend them.

How to add a coin

• Open the Scan tab.
• Point your camera at the QR code on your coin (the public address side).
• Give the coin a nickname if you like — something like 'Grandpa's Bitcoin'.
• Tap save. The coin appears on your dashboard.

Tips

• Make sure the coin surface is clean and well lit.
• Hold the phone steady about a hand's width away.
• If the QR won't scan, you can type the address in by hand.
